You are almost sitting up by yourself. You like to be propped up in your boppy and play with your toys. You usually have about 10-15 of them all around you. Nugget likes to get ahold of them and lick them after you are done. Probably not sanitary, but oh well! You also love to watch tv. Sometimes Mom and Dad will play the Wii and you will just sit there watching.
Here is a picture of you and Mom watching tv.
I think you might be a sports fanatic. You had "fun"watching the Lions in their last game of the season.
Here you are in FL wearing one of your many hats.
This was your first time in your ducky bath. This was a gift from the Layers and we love it. You don't slide all over in it and it is just fun to see you in it. You were quite shocked that Mom had the audacity to take your picture while you were in the buff.
My blue eyed boy in front of the palm trees. (More Florida pictures to come)
You had your first sickness this month We were at Dr. Mantia's office 2 times in 3 weeks! We think you got RSV from daycare and that gave you a nasty cough. Nothing really to treat RSV, but you also had a double ear infection. You are taking your first taste of amoxicillin for that. You actually love to take it. As soon as you see that pink syringe coming toward you, your little mouth is open.
You are eating a lot! You are still nursing (yeah!) about 3 times per day and eating 3-4 ounce bottles at daycare. You are also eating a variety of baby food. Mom started making homemade food this month. So far we have made bananas, sweet potatoes, and applesauce. The only thing you haven't liked so far is butternut squash. I don't blame you. YUCK! You are a little particular with your rice cereal. It must have something mixed in it or you won't eat it.
You weigh a little over 19 lbs and wear 6-9 month clothes. We'll see how tall you are next week at your 6 month appt. We had to go out and buy some new car seats for you. Our basket car seat only goes up to 22 lbs and you are getting very heavy in it.
You love to smile and you love Nugget. You just won't smile when we get your pictures taken! I think the camera scares you.
