What a great day we had on Sunday! Miles was baptized by Pastor John Klompien at North Street CRC in Zeeland, MI. We had a nice lunch afterward at our house for about 20 friends and family.
I try to plan everything perfectly, but things don't always turn out as expected! I put the wrong date on the baptism cake and had to have them change it at Costco. Then the checkout girl smushed a big flower with my hamburger buns!! It still tasted delicious.
Ronan fell down the steps after the baptism and I dropped Miles's baptism certificate. Whoops!
We also got a new large folding table for Christmas from Jim's parents. We took off the wrapping and it was broken! Unfortunately we really needed it for seating, so Jim improvised and set up saw horses and we still used it.
What a great day for Miles and our family. We definitely celebrated Staat style! Great food, a few disasters, and lots of fun.
