You have been counting and it cracks us up. Usually it goes "one, three, four, five, nine". Not sure where the other numbers went, but it is a start. We always count going up and down the stairs and you think that is super fun.
You are also a little parrot. Anything we say, you repeat. Mom has been sick growing your little brother or sister and when we ask you what Mom says, you say "blah, blah" (vomiting noises). Thankfully, Mom is much better now.
You love tractors and cars/trucks. You also have really gotten interested in Little People. You have the car wash, barn, nativity, and the circus set. (all garage sale purchases, except for the nativity). You also like megablocks and legos and making a mess.
You love to go outside and since the weather has been warmer, you keep saying "outside, outside". You like to play with your bats and balls and your lawnmower. You also like to throw the rocks that are under our deck.
Ronan with his Valentine's day balloon. He was so excited and played with it for a long time. Nugget was chasing him and that just added to the fun.

Ronan has become a little sports fan. Actually, he really doesn't watch tv. He doesn't have any favorite tv shows or even watch cartoons. He does yell "touchdown" (see below) and "goal", but that is about it. He also like some commercial with a cow in it and he says "cow...MOOO", but other than that, not a big tv person. He does like watching Dada at his softball games and says "My Daddy" when Jim goes up to bat.
Ronan fell at daycare and got a big rug burn on his nose. He was playing with a car and it slipped out from under him and down he went. Unfortunately, school pictures were the next week! He still actually has a reddish mark on his nose because the burn went pretty deep.
Helping Dad put together his new Ikea table and chairs. I thought I bought 2 blue and 2 white chairs, but all 4 were blue! It ended up working out well.
Ronan loves his new table and chairs. He is giving me his "cheese" face and playing with his Melissa and Doug latches board.
18 month stats: 1/26/11 Ronan weighed 28.2 lbs (75th percentile), was 34.5 inches (97th percentile) and head circumference 19.5 inches (97th percentile)
Daycare notes:
2/8/11 Ronan was still in the Infant Room II. He ate all of his cereal for breakfast, eggs, hashbrowns, applesauce for lunch, yogurt and graham crackers for a snack. He slept from 1215-140 pm. I was told by his teacher that he was the only toddler in his room that could blow bubbles.
4/4/11 Ronan is now in the Toddler room and loving it! He slept from 1215-240 pm (cause he is so tired from running around with all the big kids). He ate cereal and juice in the am, chips, pears, corn, taco meat at lunch, and string cheese and pretzels for a snack. He played superball in the gym, sang 5 Little Monkeys, and made sand/dirt art.
4/27/11 Ronan only slept 1 hour 10 minutes today! He liked climbing through the tree house and large block obstacles. He counted cheerios and shaped foam blocks. He ate cereal and milk, turkey and cheese sandwich, green beans (his fave), pineapple and milk for lunch, and graham crackers and apples for a snack.
